'Its all about your flatwork!' this is something you'll hear a lot on lessons with our English instructors. Both Nikki Durkee and Kerry Jamieson are BHS qualified British instructors and they carry with them years of experience teaching and competing in the UK.
SCS has without doubt, the best English training facilities around. We boast a full cross country course, including drop fences, ditches, a climb-on-jump-off castle and many other unique obstacles. An enclosesd surfaced arena is perfect for younger horses and specific exercises and our showjumping arena is larger than average with a complete course of brightly colored jumps.
We have the experience to start you off over fences (Prep to Jump) right up to gymnastic jumping, speed jumping, how to ride cross country and course technique theory.
Horses that come for English training here, leave ready to go in to an arena and be sucessful.
We are extremely fortunate to have one of the UK's best instructors in Kerry has made a whole career in training both riders and horses and has prepared hundereds of students in the UK for their BHS exams and competition training.
Personally she has competed professionally in high level dressage through showjumping and cross country. Riding not only at Stoneleigh, the BHS headquarters but also at Royal Windsor.
There are very few barns in Florida that can boast having such a prestigous English instructor and we are thrilled that she will be based here with us. She can offer teaching and training on site or off site, cater for beginners and advanced alike and her group clinics are a must for learning how to work with your horse, gain confidence and wow the judges in the dressage arena!!! Kerry teaches the staff here once a week and they all adore her lessons, they are fun, informative not to mention a good workout!. We can arrange early morning lessons or evenings to avoid the heat and work commitments.
Kerry teaches both children and adults and has vacancies for Hunter and Jumper students. If you would like to come meet Kerry and discuss your horse or your ambitions and goals, whether its to compete or be able to go down the trails safely! Give us a call or an email and we will be happpy to talk to you and see how we can help. Call Kerry direct on 352-650-8640

Training & Lesson costs
Training is charged per week, this works out to be more cost effective if your horse does not need the usual 30 days. Perhaps just a tune up or work on a specific problem which would not require a full 30 days. Cost of Training is $150 per week. This includes board, hay, training and care .Owners are required to bring the horses usual feed.
Lessons with Kerry are $40 on your horse or one of ours
